There should be more than one fuse panel and there should be slots labeled as spare with an Amp rating. 2. Instead of running a constant power lead through the firewall to the positive battery post, can I use one of the "empty" slots (putting in a 20AMP fuse) as a constant power source??? The fuse points marked in the image below are empty. mx5 fuse box cabin. The fuse doesn't regulate or provide amperage to the circuit.
